Condition

This work is in good overall condition as viewed. There is evidence of very minor wear along the edges of the painting due to abrasions with the frame but this does not affect the overall image. Under bright light, there is light craquelure across the surface of the canvas, especially in the areas of thicker impasto. However this is stable and the paint layers are healthy overall. There is an extremely tiny loss and flaking in the lower left quadrant as well as the upper middle quadrant. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals evidence of restoration along the vertical center and along the edges of the work, but this only visible under ultraviolet light. This work could benefit from a light cleaning. Framed.

Catalogue Note

"My art is related to a positive energy hinging upon creation (the realm of thought), sense/intuition (the realm of fine character), and intention (a passion for life, desires, will and hopes.) These three elements form the essence of the human energy to operate within their cultural spheres, and for me, this is a process of veneration."
