Condition

Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There is slight undulation to the canvas. There is some minor surface dirt visible to the work, but this excepting the work appears in excellent and original overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals an old varnish, which makes a clear reading difficult, but there are no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching visible. Housed in a thick gilt frame.
