Condition
Not viewed out of the frame. The work appears to be adhered to the backing card in places, but does not appear to be laid down. The work appears to consist of two sheets laid on one another. The sheets appears sound. The edges of the sheets are deckled, and the watermark of the paper is visible in the lower right corner. There are pinholes apparent at the corners of the sheet, with a small resultant tear in the top right corner, with one or two further pinholes and a small horizontal indentation visible in the lower right quadrant, thought to be in keeping with the artist's working method. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition, with rich and fresh passages of charcoal.
The work is float mounted and presented in a painted wooden frame, held under glass.
