Condition

Not viewed out of the frame. The sheet appears to be affixed to the backing card in several places. The sheet appears sound. The upper edge of the sheet is slightly unevenly cut, with a small tag towards the left side of the upper edge, thought to be inkeeping with the artist's materials. There are one or two very soft creases at the lower right corner, with some faint handling marks at the lower right vertical edge and in the upper right quadrant, and a very tiny crease to the lower left corner. There are one or two very light scuffs to the purple gouache in places, visible only upon very close inspection. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is float mounted and presented in a painted wooden frame, held under perspex. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
