Condition
Original canvas.
There are very minor traces of cracking to the thicker areas of red paint at the centre of the composition, visible upon very close inspection, and a further fine line to the middle of the blue element on the right hand side. There are a few burst air bubbles to the black pigment visible upon very close inspection, and in keeping with the nature of the artist's materials. There is a very light possible bloom to areas of the black pigment, visible upon close inspection. There are light traces of surface dirt and studio detritus visible, including a light possible mould to the black pigment in the lower left quadrant, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals scattered specks of fluorescence and retouchings throughout the white backing areas.
Housed in a thin metal strip frame.
