Condition
Original canvas. There is some slight unevenness to the canvas, predominantly in the upper right quadrant, but the canvas otherwise appears sound. There are one or two extremely fine scattered lines of craquelure, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There is a very small scratch to the surface of the work below centre, thought to be in keeping with the Artist's working method, and there is some studio detritus to the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a few small scattered spots of fluorescence, thought to be in keeping with the Artist's materials.
The work is presented in a gilt wooden frame.
