Condition
The sheet undulates slightly but otherwise appears sound. The sheet is attached to the backing card with a tab at each of the upper corners but not laid down. The left edge of the sheet is uneven, consistent with the sheet having been taken from the Artist's sketchbook. There is some fading to the pen and ink and wash, and the sheet is discoloured, particularly around the edges. There is some light surface dirt, a few small specks of straining and traces of studio detritus to the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
The work is window mounted and presented within a painted wooden frame, held under glass.
