Condition
Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There is some extremely light rubbing along the extreme edges in places, owing the work being unframed. There are some fine lines of craquelure apparent to the light blue pigment at the upper left edge. There is some light surface dirt and studio detritus to the work in places. There are some very minor signs of rubbing and flattened to one or two of the raised areas od impasto, only visible upon close inspection. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition.
Inspection under UV light reveals some spots of retouching along the left vertical edge and to the right corner, which have been very sensitively executed.
The work is unframed.
