The canvas is unlined and the paint surface secure and stable. The varnish appears even but somewhat discoloured and flat - but there are no major damages visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light reveals a thick varnish that fluoresces opaque - and a few minor retouchings scattered throughout, especially in the shadows of the fruit on the ledge and in the leaves at the top - although there is little intervention in the fruit and in the bowl. In fair condition, and would benefit from a new varnish.
