- A double-sided portrait miniature depicting James Graham, 1st Marquess of Montrose (1612–1650) (recto) and Thomas Wentworth, 1st Earl of Strafford (1593–1641) (verso)
- both watercolour and bodycolour on vellum, silver-metal frame
- each: 8.9 by 7 cm.; 3 1/8 by 2 3/4 in.
Condition
The colours in both miniatures have survived well. There are occasional scratches and surface dirt. The glass is a little worn.
