Condition
The canvasses both have old linings and remain in their original stretchers. Both canvasses appear to have been fairly recently lightly cleaned and restored and are in excellent overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals only scattered local retouchings in both pictures mostly of a minor nature. The varnish is clear and even and would require no further intention.
Offered in the matching frames with ribbon twist and plaster scallop shell mouldings; some chips and losses.
