Condition

Executed on buff-coloured wove paper, not laid down. The sheet is affixed to the mount on the verso of the four corners and is floating in its mount. There is a window which allows the verso to be viewed. The edges have been unevenly cut, presumably by the artist, and are deckled with minor handling marks and creases. There is a small flattened crease running across the tip of the upper left corner and a small tear to the upper part of the left edge. A small cut running horizontally from the extreme upper right corner which appears to be original. The sheet is lightly time-stained with a few tiny specks of foxing in places. There is a media stain to the figure's coat on the verso which does not show through to the recto. This work is in good overall condition.
