The ceramic is sound. The edges are irregular in shape and there are a few original spots of loss along the perimeter although a chip to the inside tip of the lower left corner appears to be more recent. There is another small chip at the centre of the right edge and few further tiny nicks in places along the edges. The black oxide has dried unevenly and there are a few areas at centre left where the glaze has not taken. This work is in good overall condition.
