Illustration is a little too shiny. Good overall condition, despite scattered marks, dents and scratches throughout the surface consistent with handling. Old restorations to the tortoiseshell marquetry. On one pedestal, tiny chips with loss to the marquetry around the top. On the other one, very minor lifts on the front and on the right side (not distracting). Bronze mounts slightly tarnished and rubbed.
