Zou Xiaoshan (Zou Yigui) was good at painting, especially in the subject of flower painting. He was skilled in using colors. His works were favored by the emperor. This album includes a total of sixteen flower paintings. Among them, each season - spring, summer, autumn, and winter – has four pieces. The color and luster [of each painting] are delicate and sleek, and it is hard to trace the brushwork. This album is truly a remarkable work.
