Condition

86cm across the top, 89cm across the bottom, 398cm from the left, 399cm from the right. Flexible handle with soft lustrous wool and generally 3mm pile overall, with deep oxidisation to browns commensurate with dye. Both ends restored with some reweaving, soumac overlocking and trimmed fringes, with partially original pale blue sidecords, with some sections of repair. Rare to find a runner of original and narrow width . With balanced design, good colour and versatile; a both practical and collectible runner, ready to use.
