Condition

134cm across the top, 132cm across the bottom, 243cm the left hand side, 241cm the right hand side. With flexible handle. Pile 3-4mm at highest (within border) down to 1mm and knotheads generally across rest of rug. Some oxidisation to brown. Minor scattered small repairs. Losses at both ends. trimmed and overlocked. Vestiges of fringing in small sections of lower end. Partially original overcasting to sidecords, lacking in some section on each side. This is an unusual design with two spandrels and with rather unusual main border. A charming example.
