teapot with looses to wood handle and finial, and a minor dent to tip of spout; kettle with a few small dents and one large dent to side, the handle lacking one pin, and lampstand with one foot pushed up; sugar bowl with minor ding to rim; tray with light scratches from use and a shallow dent to base; the book with wear and small losses to cover and mounts for pages, the pages separated from binding

Catalogue Note
The presentation book reads "Presented to John O'Neill Esq. upon his leaving The Hampshire Audit District / This Album together with a solid silver "Georgian" tea and coffee service and salver was presented to John O'Neill Esq., by Officers of the Unions and Parishes, in the Hampshire Audit district, in appreciation of the courtesy and ready help so willingly shown by him during the time that he held the appointment of Auditor of the District, a period extending over Twenty Years, and while expressing their regret at his removal, they offer him their sincere congratulations on his promotion to the Yorkshire District. 9th April 1904." The book also lists the dignitaries present at the ceremony.
