Overall in excellent condition. When viewed in person, the work presents with a wide range of nuanced blues ranging from stormy blue to rich cobalt. The glaze with a few minor air bubbles and irregularities inherent in the making. The surface with a few minor surface scratches and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle handling. The piece has been examined under black light and shows no evidence of prior restoration. A rare and deeply sculptural form.
