Condition

The japanned and lacquered top of the base with losses and cracklure, it will require consolidation as there is lifting to this fragile surface. Exposed timber and gesso. Lacquer could use stabilization. Feet with chips and losses. Losses to paint and flaking. Gilt decoration is tired. Rubbing, wear, and chips consistent with use and age.
