Overall in good condition. The legs have been applied with a white finish as seen in the catalogue illustration. The wood surfaces present with minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions and minor surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The chair has been reupholstered in a neutral white muslin. The upholstery is in good condition with minor surface dirt concentrated to the upper portion of the backrest and consistent with age and gentle use. It is believed that this chair might have originally been totally upholstered in white leather as seen in the referenced archive photograph. A very simple and elegant design, ensuite with lot 186.
