the pale celadon stone worked as a fish with an upturned tail, pierced through vertically with an aperture
Condition
There are small bruises and tiny nicks to the edges, the most visible a shallow chip measuring 0.8 cm to the fish's fin. The carving has been pierced for suspension.

A fish pendant of this size was sold in our London rooms, 1st July 1974, lot 153; two from the Lizzadro collection were sold at Christie’s New York, one, 21st March 2013, lot 832, and the other, 19th September 2013, lot 1177; and a fourth pendant was sold at Christie’s South Kensington, 10th March 1992, lot 241.
