the plaque worked in low relief with a recumbent spotted deer, depicted grasping a leafy floral spray with the head turned backwards, the reverse pierced with apertures; each of the two 'bird' carvings delicately rendered, the first depicted with outstretched wings, the other with an arched body terminating in an upturned tail
Condition
Chips to the edges of the plaque. Drilled with eight small circular apertures on the underside for hanging. Two small carvings: minor chips to the edges.
