Description

  • Jade
carved seated with the right hand holding a fan and the left hand raised, the back pierced with two small connected holes, the smoothly polished stone with faint russet patches

Condition

There are typical minute bruises and nicks to the fragile extremities. Small sections have possibly polished to conceal an earlier nick, including one leaf of the fan. The figure is otherwise in overall good condition.
