Overall the condition of the bronze is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some minor greening in areas, in particular in the crevices of the wings. There are a few nicks and scratches, notably around the bottom edge and below the signature. There is particular surface dirt to the proper left arm. There are a few minor stable original fissures, including to the proper right foot and the support at the bottom.
