Condition
The canvas has not been lined. It is somewhat loose in the lower right corner and it could benefit from some light tapping-out. There is a fine pattern of craquelure throughout and two very small spots of paint flaking in the extreme upper edge. Ultra-violet light reveals some very small scattered spots of retouching and areas of uneven fluorescence, notably in the sky in the upper right, which appear to be attributable to the artist's working method or to some past work of restoration. This work is overall in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
