This collection includes letters by Mary Hamilton (both mother and daughter) — a receipt signed by Robert Morris in 1786 for payment of a judgement against John C. Schuyler in a court case in 1786 — letters of Mr. and Mrs. George Schuyler — a manuscript listing of various varieties of apples and plums by B. M. Mumford, 1825 — a clipped signature of Rufus King — a manuscript poem signed by Oliver Wendell Holmes "to Mrs. Hamilton, In memory of a breakfast party at Mrs. Bancroft's, March 1865" — and other items, including early manuscript copies of two letters by Alexander Hamilton.
