Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is deeper in the original work, especially the background which is a dark ochre.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined.
There are faint wears in each of the four corners. Few cracks located on the thicker black impastos are visible, one of which has resulted in a small paint loss. There is a small minor wear to the surface located on the ochre background, by the right edge, on the lower half.
Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration.
This work is in very good condition.
