Acquired by the grandfather of the present owner in Shanghai in 1934. 

There is a ca. 16cm long hairline crack extending from the base upwards into the sides visible in the glaze on the exterior and interior and continuing ca. 6cm into the glaze of the base inside the pot but not visible on the unglazed base. There is overall light wear and scratches to the glaze. The rim may have been slightly polished in the past. the blue is an opaque tone.
