The box comprises a box, an inset tray and cover. There is a ca. 2x1cm large area of loss to the white enamel on the base. There are some brown stains to the pink enamels on the inside of the box. There are overall losses to the gold, silver and copper foil around the exterior, particularly to the gold foil. The gilding around the rim is worn. The pink enamel on the base of the tray shows some light wear and dents. There are overall light losses to the gold foil on the inside tray. There are some losses to the enamels and the gilding on the rim is worn and patinated. There are overall losses to the gold and silver foil on the cover of the box. There are some losses to the enamels and some burst bubbles on the enamelled surface.
