There are two natural veins running though the stone, extending from the rim into the base: there is a natural flaw running accross the base of the dish, all visible in the catalogue illustration. There are minor chips to the raised parts of the design in the interior and handle and along the rim. The colour is a pale celadon tone, not as yellow as the catalogue illustration suggests.
