Description

  • ink on paper
gouache and ink on paper, 24 lines to the page written in naskh script in black, verso with 35 lines written in black and red naskh script, margins ruled in red and blue, the painting depicting horsemen fighting with swords, bows and arrows

Condition

In good overall condition, remounted on paper, with numbers written in pencil on the lower border outside of the text panel, some smudges to the ink and minor stains, the painting with minor flaking, minor smudges and small stains as visible from the catalogue image, as viewed.
