Description
- ink on paper
gouache heightened with gold on paper, 6 lines to the page above and below the painting, the borders with gold floral scrolls, written in nasta’liq script in black ink within 4 columns, ruled in colours and gold, reverse with 24 lines of text written horizontally and diagonally
Condition
In generally good condition, the recto with minor stains and very minor losses to the painting, Arabic numbers written on the top and bottom of the margin, the colours remain vivid and bright. The verso with pencil annotation and an Arabic number in black ink, with small repairs and stains not affecting the calligraphy, the border of the text panel with minor cello tape, as viewed.
