Persian manuscript on paper, 228 leaves, plus 3 flyleaves, 17 lines to the page within 3 columns, written in nasta’liq script in black ink, 6 miniatures, 11 polychrome illuminated headpieces with floral gold margins, in later gilt-stamped brown leather binding

Condition

In good overall condition, re-margined and rebound, with occasional restorations, the text occasionally consolidated with sello tape, minor water and various stains, the binding worn and with loss to the gilding, as viewed.
