Description

  • tinned copper
of rounded form on a short spreading foot with slightly everted rim, the exterior engraved with dense bands of arcaded palmettes and a fine band of nasta’liq to rim, later owner’s mark near the foot

Condition

A small area of oxidation on the exterior side which is not wider than 5 by 4cm., scratches to the surface and few minor dents consistent with its age, some rubbing to the surface, as viewed.
