Description
- brass and silver
of deep cylindrical form with tall, slightly inverted rim, large engraved band with interlacing vegetal motifs interspersed with roundels containing a geometric design and silver-overlaid calligraphic inscriptions
Condition
In good condition, the dish with oxidisation especially visible to interior, remnant of wax to one side, small patches of erosion, the underside scratched, traces of silver overlay remaining particularly on inscriptions (only about 30% remains), as viewed.
