Arabic manuscript on paper, 302 leaves, plus 5 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in naskh script in black ink, verses separated by pointed gold and polychrome roundels, margins ruled in red, blue and gold, gold and polychrome illuminated floral devices in the margins, surah headings in white ink decorated with polychrome floral scrolls against gold ground cartouches, double page illuminated frontispiece composed of a thick border of interlacing flowers and split-palmettes emanating bunches of flowers, brown morocco binding with gilt-stamped decoration, with flap
Condition
In very good condition, the margins are clean and only occasional smudges to the ink, one bottom corner of a page cut, the binding maintaining bright gilt decoration inside and outside, as viewed.
