Description

  • INK ON PAPER
Arabic manuscript on paper, 8 lines to the page, a large line of thuluth script in cloud bands against a gold ground, two lines beneath in naskh script in cloud bands, 2 oval cartouches below, the interstices decorated with floral bunches, green and gold border with palmettes, blue outer margins with floral motifs

Condition

In overall good condition, abrasions to the upper line and rubbing to the ink on the lower right cartouche, minor flaking to the painting, bright and text bold, as viewed.
