Description
- ink on paper, bound
Arabic manuscript on paper, 30 album pages bound in concertina form, each pink page with a text panel of dense text in minute ghubar script in black ink in various micrographic flower forms, verses separated by gold roundels, the ground decorated with gold interlacing flowers, margins ruled in blue and gold with a polychrome and gold palmette to the top, surahs separated by thick gold lines, in black, red and gold lacquer binding
Condition
In very good condition, very minor stains, slight damage to the pink border of three pages, which does not affect the text, minor wear to binding, as viewed.
