- 95cm. high, 89cm. wide, 56cm. deep; 3ft. 1 1/2 in., 2ft. 11in., 1ft. 10in.
the folding hinged top fitted with tri-partite mirror to the lid enclosing bevelled glass shelves, mirrored and ceramic lined compartments with a bevelled glass and fitted leather jewel compartment, above two small drawers on square tapering legs, with a brass plate engraved 'Goldsmith & Silversmith Company 112 Regent Street'
Condition
In good overall condition. The veneer to the interior has some minor losses and lifting, the timber is faded in places. The silver-gilt elements are in good condition, although there are losses to some surface gilding. Some steel elements of components tarnished and slightly mis-shaped (e.g the nail scissors). Some white painted divisions with old marks and losses to grey paint. Losses to bristles and teeth on combs and brushes. With old marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Of high quality.
