The canvas is relined and the picture surface is relatively clean. There is a 3cm repaired tear to the lower centre of the painting and very few minor paint loses throughout. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals a thin layer of varnish and no further retouchings are evident. The painting is in good condition. Offered in a gilded wood frame in good condition.
