on a fluted stand, with garlands, on a tri-part base with lion paw feet and cherub heads, with the spurious stamp MERAND
Condition
There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use.
As stated in the catalogue, the pair of candelabra and the table are partly 18th century.
The stands were initially candle spikes, as the table. The table has been transformed with a later circular top.
There are old woodworm traces.
One stand is loose, the other and the table have firm constructions.
