Description

well potted with deep sloping walls rising from a short footring to a subtle groove below the lip, applied with a lustrous blackish-blue brown glaze finely streaked with russet 'hare's fur' markings, the glossy glaze running unctuously with one tear extending to the foot and two bulbous ones falling short of the foot, revealing the purple-tinged brown body

Condition
There are a couple of minute flakes to the exterior mouthrim. The bowl is otherwise in overall good condition with just some original firing imperfections including an area of ground glaze at the foot.
