the shallow rounded sides rising from a short foot, the interior with a medallion enclosing stylised pomegranates and foliage, surrounded by scattered pomegranates and vines around the rim, the exterior with three fruiting sprigs, the base with an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark in underglaze blue within a double-circle

Condition

The dish is in good condition, with some rubbing of enamel to the central foliage in the interior, and minor iron spots to the exterior and base. There is also some scratches to the glaze to the interior.
