robustly potted, the rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot to a notched rim, the center impressed with a medallion enclosing a leafy peony spray, surrounded with a band of floral scrolls at the rim, covered overall with a rich sea-green glaze save for the foot.
Condition
The dish is in good condition with the exception of a shallowl chip to the glaze on the exterior (approx. 1.8 x 0.5 cm), and slight scratches to the surface. There are minor firing imperfections including minor glaze pooling at the rim, kiln adhesions, and burst bubbles and iron spots.
