the compressed body supported on three bulging feet, with an everted rim flanked by a pair of chilong with curved bodies forming the handles, the base cast with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark enclosed by two confronting dragons set within a recessed circle
Condition
This censer is in good condition, but does have numerous nicks, scratches and stains to the patina. The patina has discoloured to brass in two areas which shows a patch, which is a possible repair 4cm by 14cm to one side and 7cm by 4cm to the other.
