the deep slightly rounded sides rising from a recessed base to an inverted rim, brightly enamelled around the exterior with pairs of birds perched, swimming and in flight in a lotus pond and rocky landscape, all reserved on a rich yellow ground

This brightly enamelled jardinière is in good condition with the exception of the rim which has been polished and a circa 14cm., three-pointed star crack to the lower body, minor glaze firing imperfections and light glaze scratches.
