Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Each miniature is in good condition with vivid colours, but there is an accident to the top miniature with Empress Joséphine : there is a vertical crack to the oval paper. The upper miniature with Empress Jospéhine is signed 'Saint'. The back cardboard of the lower miniature has been changed. The 4 oval brass elements of the back need to be refixed. The velvet is rubbed. As stated in the catalogue, the frame is later. The gilding of the frame is rubbed with one minute chip.
