The illustration of the catalogue is accurate despite being too bright. There are dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use. There are many chips and losses to the gilding revealing the red bowl, the gesso and the wood underneath. There are losses to the gilding, especially to the edges and to the feet. The leather top is in very bad condition with a major crack, losses, very rubbed and burnt areas. The structure is firm. Nice carving.
