Condition
Reduced in length with two re-joined cuts running across carpet approximately 7in. to the north and south of medallion. Fabric backed. Pile generally low to knotheads and foundation overall. Some scattered old repiling, most to dark blues. Some old cobbled restorations, some reweaves and patches, scattered foldwear and some repaired slits. Horizontal and vertical foldwear as visible in illustration. Ends secured with burlap straps sewn on reverse, sides reselvedged with selvedge now detached in areas. Some stains; not rextensive. Supple handle, decorative classical piece, sound fabric.
